New Bromheads single is out, for free!! They are def one of my favourite bands, they were a 3 piece called Bromheads Jacket, but their bassist left to work in Africa! So for the next 6 months they are releasing a song for free on the 1st of every month. Bring on the 1st of November!

So last friday I cut my hair off as a fundraiser for the cancer society along with 4 other girls! It was an amazing night, and we raised over 5 grand, which is amazing.

This is me getting it done (they cut it into a mullet first!!)

Looking sexy huh. That night I went to a cave rave, which was really cool. I went for a dance in the ocean aftermidnight and felt nice and free.

The next night I went to a toga party! We made skittles cocktails, mine was the only one which kinda worked.

The toga party was rad.

Exam time already D: This year is going so fast, which is cool cos it means summer is really soon (L) and moving to the city is a day closer, but it means deciding what I wanna do nexr year. My options are as follows

1. Become a shepard

2. Grow a beard and join a circus

4. Own a tea plantation

5. Own a large dog, live in england and write miserable poetry and become a drunk (:

I love fashion which isn't very functional. Pieces which seem to defy the realms of what we wear on a day to day basis, and therefore creating a magical and mythical world. One of my favourite designers to do this is the Australian label, Romance Was Born.

They inspire a neverland, romantic vision, and I'm sure just wearing an item of Romance Was Born creates a day of passion and beauty for the wearer.

Yay tonight is my school ball. I have so much to do though, 'cos I am having predrinks at mine which means CLEANING. It is amazing how much you can get done if you don't procastinate. In two hours I've washed scrubbed, vacuumed and made a new shirt. Based on the 'carl who?' mine is a 'pete who?' tee.

We also have to set up our arrival float which is based on the mad hatters teaparty :)!

I am mainly excited for the party afterwards. But it should be a good night. Getting a bottle of JD though. (listening to the crue to get in the mood!) So I shall be in a state tomorrow.

I don't really know what I'd do without the Libertines.  My favourite song is France for sure. From the tines was born the beauty which is babyshambles, dirty pretty things and pete's solo stuff. Good ol' heroin addicts.

Myabe at seventeen I am not meant to know what I wanna do with my life.

I am just meant to know what I like, what I don't like and what I stand for!

The thing we seem to learn with age is that nothing lasts forever and we have to appreciate each moment we are given as a blessing, because we can never know if we shall ever have such a moment again.

School weirds me out to the core sometimes. I just got accused of defiance, because. Actually hold that thought. Beacause I don't really know. Okay yeah I kinda do, but not really.

 

I really hate how I always get accused of things which I haven't done, even worse I usually get accused of thinking things/feeling things, which I haven't. That annoys me the most because only I can know those sorts of things.

I got up at 5.30 to watch live coverage of the inaugration, so I'm waiting for everyone to wake up so I can find something to do today.

Its amazing how plain hope for a better future can turn into reality. (: as one writer said, as a writer, this just proves the power of words. I might be placing too much faith in one man, but I do completly believe that if one person can help the entire world out of our ecomonic and social slump, it is him.

In some NZ political news, our PM broke his arm by falling off a stage on his first proper day on the job, good job john! I completly agree with former PM's comments on why, during an economic crisis, did they not shorten their christmas holiday. They have about seven weeks off, with only the primary core parts of the goverment functioning. Our , "buy kiwi and we've got it made." iniative has been cut, along with the instalation of recycling facalites in how density areas. Oh great...
I may be saying this too soon, but I can't wait to move to Wellington and join protests.

School goes back in about ten days, which is weird, but good. I always love starting back (: got lots of plans for the school paper and stuff, so I can't wait to impliment them. Also seeing who my teachers are, and who has dropped out!

Californication is finially screening a second seris starting in a few weeks (: super rad.

there is nothing more amazing than being with best friends, the kind that own my soul, at the start of a year, when everything seems possible.

 

friendship is the thing which we must hold in our heart day in day out. in saying that i've realized some frienships are 100% over, because some people just suck you dry, but you don't notice it, because its hidden in light and life. But those rats are out to kill you, take your heart and wear it as a jewel in their crown, a notch in their bedpost.

 

We went to the zoo and laughed at the otters, and had some nice vegetarian treats the foreshore. I love life when its like this.

 

I'm gonna enjoy this living this life!

I have a complete fascination with dressing up and seeing how un-me I can look. Its strange to think that I could very possibly look like this if I only changed a few things about me, yet I don't. I am 100% happy with who I am, I just like knowing what the other possibilities out there for me are.

Nikki Sixx had this theory that there was two of him, Sikki and Nikki. Sometimes it feels like two different sides of me are raging in my belly, because I wanna go out and destroy, yet I want to spend my time at peace and creating. I'm pretty good at feeding both the monsters, or at least keeping one quiet. When I'm by myself I am peaceful and calm, and when I'm with other people I'm not. Only one person has really ever seen calm me. So how many other me's would be if I'd taken small steps in a different direction?


I think I like wearing other peoples clothes because it lets me have a piece of them, because it has a little of their spirit in it, and I like to see how it mixes with mine or how it feels to be them. Clothing isn't everything, but it spends a lot of time on our skin, and I look a lot different with my clothes off :)


Today I was a bit Juliette. She is a bigger beast than me.

and this is the time i get motivated for next year!
about a week till exams, which is fucking insane and scary. Then it is summer time YAY AT LONG LAST.

Still not sure what I'm doing for summer, prob going up north for the beach and friends, might have some boys coming down for new years, way to fucking bring the new years in, might go to a festival! NEVER KNOW.

I joined a play yesterday, I get to dress up as a vampire and usher people in, yay. I think I get rad as fake teeth, and I get to hang with rad people (:

over summer i'm going to learn to cartwheel, because I am so retarded at it, and if I get good i'll just show off my skill heaps.

I can't wait to make my goals for next year, I never seem to actually follow them, but I always manage to complete them (:

next year is going to be insane, i have so much to do in order to be semi okay about moving, but it will 100% be worth it.

We ended up getting backstage passes so I looked pretty hardcore for the night. We only went back stage once to get clips for our passes, and we got some rockshop tee's, plus got to spy on the cute band members.

Clap Clap Riot was one of the funniest bands, we just kinda danced which was fun, I felt bad for them because no one was chanting with them, and they needed a tonne more confidence.. but it was fun to bop to.

Die die die was the fun too, highlight was

The killers played in between sets on the sound system, that was rad as. I wish they had of been there but no.

I was overall fun. Happy I didn't pay.

Just sitting at my sisters flat. I'm going to a concert tomorrow and i don't even like any of the bands, luckily i didn't pay anything. Just will be nice. Last concert i left early to get drunk, bum.

I ranted at everyone about voting today, its our right as a democratic nation, and our responsibility as part of being a member of a democratic nation.

Getting into the summer flow, I jsut can't wait for short skirts, beer, mellow beats and the ocean!

Last night a friend came round, we had a bottle of wine each and just giggled and laughed about life. It was nice being able to just drink and hang out. Also being able to get worthless people off my mind was a relief.

People are so pointless with their abilities to steal your soul and everything.

I have lots of work to do before the holidays, its intense, and I'm too lazy.

I wanna go grocery shopping and watch starwars, revenge of the sith x

I'm going blonde again in a month, talk about thank fucking god.

My ball's next week and I'm still trying to find some killer red tartan heels to go with a nice plain black dress.

Today is judgement day for the boys my friend better not go to jail ahh. Mainly because he has to come visit me soon so we can smoke cigars and drink whiskey in a motel.

I need to get my drivers licence. Ha.
